Dear Parents,

We are already in the final days of Term 1! A few things to note:

• This Friday, 31st August, is the last day before the one week school break. This will be a regular school day, finishing at 2:30pm. However, being the end of term, we will have a special activity for the students in the afternoon. Regular Friday dress code applies, i.e. P.E. uniform, with uniform pants/skirt to change into after P.E.

• Teachers’ Day this year falls during the school break (Friday, 7th September), so we will be having a school day off in lieu on Monday, 10th September.

• Term 2 will commence on Tuesday, 11th September. Being the first day of the school week, a reminder that students must be in their full uniform including tie. Also, we will be holding our Staff Meeting that afternoon (instead of Monday), so school will be dismissed at 1:00pm (as on a Monday).

We pray that you are able to enjoy some family times of refreshing during this short break between the terms.

Calling all Champions of Christian Education,

We would like to remind you about our event of the year – now less than two weeks away – Victory Nite 2012!

There are still seats available if you would like to invite your friends or colleagues (you may also use the share buttons below) to experience this inspiring celebration in our journey “onward in victory!”

Presentation of Character, Academic and House Challenge Awards,
and Graduation Ceremony.

This year we are also privileged to have both our Founder – Mrs Jan Boey – and the Director of School of Tomorrow Asia – Mrs Penny Olson – as guest speakers.

This is a great opportunity to introduce others to Victory Life Christian School, especially those who should have their children enjoying an academically proven, Biblically sound, character-building, individualised, mastery-based education while being transformed as “a people prepared for the Lord.”

Tickets may be purchased from the school office this coming week (please note that we are closed for National Day and the day following) at $20/person. Additional tickets may be purchased at the door on the night; however, the buffet dinner will not be provided for door-sales.

• 5:00pm – Art Exhibition and Sale
• 5:30pm – Buffet Dinner (closing at 6:15pm)
• 6:30pm – Programme Commences

Please be seated by 6:20pm in the Theatrette Auditorium for the Grand Entrance to honour our students for their work this past school year.
