We are pleased to announce that Victory Life Christian School will be co-hosting the first School of Tomorrow Asia Educators’ Convention to be held here in Singapore, on March 12-13, 2012. This informative and inspirational event has been bathed in prayer and is designed to renew your vision and commitment for service both to Him and to the children in your care. Speakers coming from ACE School of Tomorrow headquarters in the United States, and from School of Tomorrow Asia, will join your very own local education practitioners. The SOT team, providing you with practical helps to take your school to a whole new level, has a combined total of over 100 years’ experience in Christian Education using the individualised, mastery based, ACE School of Tomorrow programme. You do not want to miss this!

GETTING THERE

By car: there is limited street-side parking (either Race Course Road or Chander Road), or the HDB multi-storey car-park on Klang Lane.

By bus: alight at Broadway Hotel on Serangoon Road, served by SBS 23, 64, 65, 66, 131, 139 and 147, and SMRT 67 and 857.

By MRT: get onto the “purple line”, and the venue is about 15 minutes’ walk from either Little India (NE7) or Farrer Park (NE8).

Hotel Grand Chancellor is the closest hotel to the venue. Click on the “Hotel area map” to find other hotels nearby. If staying elsewhere in Singapore, the venue is only 15 minutes’ walk from either Little India MRT station (NE7 on the purple line) or Farrer Park (NE8).

Please continue to pray for our team as they minister in various ways to the Lahu people in Chiang Rai province, Northern Thailand. Activities include Bible teaching, teaching basic English in the Lahu Training Centre, playing football with the local boys and teaching captain’s ball to the local girls (the team brought balls to give them), preaching in village churches, and ministering in an Orphanage and a Discipleship Training Centre in Mae Sai. We will post further updates as we receive them from the field…

Dear Parents,

Please note that due to a lack of items to sell, the Garage Sale planned for this Saturday has been cancelled. The items received so far will instead be kept for our School Carnival Jumble Sale next term. Some items may alternatively be donated to Birthright School in the Philippines.
