My husband and I stand here today, filled with gratitude and joy, to share the testimony of God’s goodness in our son Alvin’s journey towards graduation. This journey is a testament to God’s unwavering faithfulness, love, and guidance.
From the very beginning, we placed our trust in God, knowing that He had a unique plan for Alvin’s life. There were times when the road seemed challenging, and we faced moments of doubt and uncertainty. However, through every obstacle, God’s presence was evident. He provided strength when we were weak, wisdom when decisions needed to be made, and comfort in times of stress and anxiety.
One of the greatest blessings we experienced was being led to Victory Life Christian School, which was perfectly suited for Alvin’s development. We are very grateful that God guided us to a school that not only excelled academically but also nurtured his physical, mental, spiritual, and social growth. It also offered a curriculum with a special focus on character development, to support Alvin to make positive contributions to the community in school, at work, and to society, now and in the future. This environment was one where he could thrive in every aspect of his life.
The A.C.E. curriculum that VLCS offers prepared him well for future endeavours, instilling in him a love for learning and to take responsibility for his own learning.
At VLCS, Alvin was able to participate in sports and other physical activities that kept him active and taught him the importance of discipline, teamwork, healthy living, and physical fitness.
Spiritually, Alvin has matured and is strengthened in his relationship with God, and he desires to do God’s good, perfect, and acceptable will.
VLCS is a community where Alvin formed meaningful relationships. He was surrounded by friends who are supportive and loving, and he learned the importance of cooperation and empathy. The social interactions and extracurricular activities provided him with a well-rounded experience that went beyond academics.
Moreover, God surrounded Alvin with supportive supervisors, mentors and friends who encouraged and motivated him. We would like to thank Mrs Boey, Mrs Lim, Mr Yee, Mrs Liah, Mr Karlo and the other supervisors who have helped Alvin and cared for, supported, and guided him in his learning journey in VLCS. This community was a direct answer to our prayers, showing us that God places people in our lives to help us grow and succeed.
As we approached graduation, we reflected on the journey and saw how God’s hand has been involved in every step. From the initial days of school till the end of high school, God’s grace was ever-present. He transformed challenges into testimonies of His power and turned our worries into celebrations of His faithfulness.
Today, as Alvin graduates, we celebrate not just his academic achievements, but the overwhelming goodness of God. We are reminded that with God, all things are possible. His plans are perfect, and His timing is impeccable.
To God be all the glory for the great things He has done in our son Alvin’s life. We look forward to the future with confidence, knowing that the same God who brought him this far will continue to guide and bless him in all his endeavours.
