Alvin graduated from VLCS in 2024, and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Business Studies with PSB Academy, studying 3-5 hours daily online. The self-directed learning process acquired during his VLCS days has helped Alvin progress smoothly in his current studies. Despite the numerous reading materials required for his course, Alvin remains undaunted by the massive work load. Learning God’s Word and the memorization skills developed at VLCS are helping him manage his current studies very well. He is applying the essentials of having sound Business Ethics in accordance with God’s will and God’s ways to maintain the dominion of life on earth: “We need to be good stewards, putting in place and checking for adherence to Biblical laws in conducting fair, sound and viable businesses on earth.”
Alvin was only 12 years old when he first came to VLCS. His parents are very grateful to the school for providing a nurturing and accepting environment for their son to grow and prosper in. The A.C.E. curriculum prepared Alvin well for future endeavors, instilling in him a love for learning and taking responsibility for himself. Alvin also participated in sports and other physical activities. Spiritually, Alvin has matured and is strengthened in his relationship with God – he wants to do God’s good, perfect, and acceptable will.
Outside school, Alvin loves music. He is inspired by the songs available on the various radio channels. He plays the piano, guitar and drums regularly, and is currently composing his own songs, too. God has indeed made Alvin into a responsible, honest, resourceful young man.
