Principal’s Letter (February)

Dear Parents,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

New Appointment

I would like to thank Mrs Jan Boey – Founder, Director and Senior Administrator – for giving me the appointment of Principal of the school. The Lord is my Helper and I believe He will equip me to do my best in shepherding the students and staff. It is my heart’s desire to grow the school from glory to glory, preparing our students ready for Him, and I do ask for your continuous prayer support that the joy of the Lord be my strength.

Family Day

We will keep you updated on our upcoming Family Day, scheduled for Saturday, 23 February, 2013. Please mark this date in your diary!

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Programme

The 31 parents who attended the special Workshop for Parents enthusiastically agreed that this programme will enrich their children. Dr Ang will commence the programme on February 27, for all our students from the age of 7 and above. The course fee for the entire programme for a period of 30 weeks is $300. This includes training fees, worksheets and homework assignment papers.

Kindly make the payment of $300 to VLCS by 27 February. For those of you who are unable to pay in one payment, you may pay in two instalments of $150 each in February and March.

The programme will be conducted every Wednesday during school curriculum hours as follows:

  • 7 to 12 years old – 9:35-10:25 am
  • 13 to 14 years old – 10:30-11:30 am
  • 15 to 16 years old – 12:15-1:15 pm
  • 17 years and above – 1:15-2:15 pm
School Fees

We want to thank all parents who have fulfilled their financial commitment for February and March, and will appreciate those who have not yet fulfilled this commitment doing so as soon as possible.

In Christ,

P.S. Please note that when we return to school on Wednesday after the CNY public holiday, students must be wearing their ties, being the first school day of the week.
